Giving Back

We know it takes a village to bring lasting change to the world, so we are proud to partner with many worthy organizations, running groups, and individuals who are passionate about making a difference. By donating products, providing sponsorships, and offering raffle items, we work to bring awareness to important issues. We also offer discounts for affiliated charities.

We are always looking for ways to give back. Here are some of the causes we have been honored to support recently:

26.2 with Donna

2009 to Present

Since 2009, we have been a proud sponsor of the 26.2 with Donna, The National Marathon to Fight Breast Cancer ( The 26.2 with DONNA is a private, nonprofit organization based in Northeast Florida that produces the only marathon in the U.S. dedicated to breast cancer research and care, working closely with Mayo Clinic. Donna’s mission is to “passionately produce world class events to raise funds for ground breaking breast cancer research and women living with breast cancer.” They have done just that, raising over $3.5 million since the inaugural race in 2008. It is Fitletic’s sixth year as the Official Running Belt of the 26.2 with Donna, and we couldn’t be more excited to continue our relationship with such a wonderful organization.

In honor of the charity, and to help raise money, Fitletic has created the Special Edition “26.2 with Donna” running belt in 3 styles. It is available for purchase through our website (, the “26.2 with Donna” website (, and at the expositions we attend. You can easily spot the “26.2 with Donna” pink running breast cancer symbol on these products. Twenty percent of the proceeds from sales of the special edition running belt go directly to “26.2 with Donna” for the purpose of cancer research and for the critical care of breast cancer survivors in need. As Shify Pomerantz (Fitletic’s CEO) states, “We feel privileged to help with this important cause and honorable charity in any way that we can.” Please help us support this great nonprofit by clicking here to purchase one today. Dashing Whippets Running Team

The Dashing Whippets Running Team is a nonprofit running organization based in New York that is driven by the diversity of their team members as they come from different places across the nation and across the globe. Since its inception in 2009, The Whippets have set a goal to help one another become the best runner that he/she can be and to truly fulfill individual potential with the support of a team. We found that, as a company, we embody the same qualities and values as the Dashing Whippets, so we are proud to be a 2015 and 2016 Sponsor of their team as we donate products to help them go the distance. Be sure to check out this great group, and if you are in the New York area, then join them for a run! (

Shepherds Men

In April of 2015, the Shepherds Men set out and completed a 911 Mile relay run from Freedom Tower in New York City to Shepherd Center in Atlanta, Georgia to raise money for and awareness about the SHARE Military Initiative, which addresses the growing problem of TBI and PTSD for our returning warriors. The team, comprised of 13 marines, veterans and civilians, had to complete over 100 miles a day for 7 days straight. The SHARE Military Initiative, established in 2008, is a comprehensive rehabilitation program that focuses on assessment and treatment for service men and women who have sustained a mild to moderate traumatic brain injury and PTSD from combat in post 9/11 conflicts. Fitletic was elated to be able to help them in this endeavor by donating hydration belts. (

Back on My Feet

Back on My Feet is a national, nonprofit organization that uses running to help those experiencing homelessness change the way they see themselves so they can make real change that results in employment and independent living. Running leads to personal transformation and dedication to the program leads to access to training, employment and housing resources. The Baltimore chapter in particular has some exciting numbers; 303 members have run their first race with the team, 24 have completed a half marathon and 52 have completed a full marathon. There have been over 593 residential members served, 203 of which have obtained employment and over 70,994 miles have been run by members! Throughout the years, we have been extremely happy to support this great organization by donating boxes of gear to the Baltimore Back on My Feet chapter. (

Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department

The Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the emergency needs of the families and guests of their community for over 100 years. Liz’s Leading Ladies

Amanda Daley, a San Diego resident, supported the fight against breast cancer by taking part in the Susan G. Komen three day “Walk for the Cure” event. She committed to raising $2,300+ for cancer research, treatment, and education. Her team, “Liz’s Leading Ladies” is 5 of Amanda’s closest friends. Her three-day team hosted a silent auction, and we were glad to donate products to help out.

The Bridge of Northeast Florida

Since the nonprofit’s inception in 1973, The Bridge of Northeast Florida has worked with children and adolescents in high crime and impoverished neighborhoods by providing opportunities they need to overcome barriers and to support them as they aspire to better their lives. Their work addresses academics, health, social enrichment, mentoring, and job skills training, providing a strong base for the children to actively and positively participate in their community and the world. The Bridge Fest 5K event raised money to help the 900+ individuals they serve. Fitletic was happy to donate our products for goodie bags, prizes and raffles. (

Children’s Tumor Foundation

Established in 1978, The Children’s Tumor Foundation is the nation’s leading nonprofit organization dedicated to finding effective treatments and a cure for neurofibromatosis disorders.

WINF Endurance Team took their “Take Your Time for NF” 5K Trail Run/Walk to benefit the Children’s Tumor Foundation and people affected by neurofibromatosis. Fitletic was excited to donate products for their raffle baskets and help raise money for this event.

Beit T’Shuvah

Beit T’Shuvah is a renowned nonprofit treatment and prevention center in West L.A., whose work is made possible by the generosity of various donors. The Run to Save a Soul campaign was developed 5 years ago as part fundraiser, part program. The Beit T’Shuvah Marathon Team (Team BTS) helps recovering addicts survive their addiction and thrive in every aspect of their lives, as well as helping others with addiction. Beit T’Shuvah has never turned anyone away for inability to pay. Starting in 2010, Beit T’Shuvah has assembled a team of runners in the ASICS LA Marathon consisting of staff, alumni, residents and community supporters. The team started with 12 people and has since grown in strength and numbers, with 53 participating in the 2012-2013 season and rising since. In 2013, Fitletic “adopted a soul,” supporting him through his running journey. Fitletic is a Team Sponsor and proud to support the runners in recovery, hoping to offer support and assistance to those working to make a difference and improve lives. (
